School Field Trips to Stewart Farms

We offer field trips in an effort to provide a unique, fun, educational activity that exposes children to “agriculture in the process.” Many are combined with additional activities, such as: hayrides, pumpkin patches, etc. Our School Field Trip Program is limited to field trips during the school day for schools, day-cares, home schoolers, etc.

FALL ONLY

We have developed guidelines regarding chaperones in our fall program.  Most school districts now require SLED background checks for all chaperones traveling with a class on a field trip.  Stewart Farms will now require that all approved chaperones wear a wrist band which we will mail to you before your visit.  Adults will not be allowed to enter the farm facilities if they are not wearing their wristband.

Here’s a link to our new Field Trip Form.  Please remember to include your requested time along with 3 choices of dates for your trip.

Our field trips are designed for the students to have fun as well as “learn a little something” while they are here. We offer a “get out in the country” experience for our visitors.  We work really hard to provide a safe, fun, educational field trip experience.

 Strawberry Patch

Your strawberry patch field trip includes a lesson on how strawberries grow/what to pick and what not to pick and one UPIK quart of strawberries.  Picnic facilities are available and must be pre-booked with your trip.  Price per student is $5, with teachers free.  Parents and other chaperones pay for what they pick.  Our wristband program for chaperones does not apply for our strawberry patch visits.
