Field Trips to Stewart Farms

Strawberry Patch Field Trip

Ms. Angie will do an educational presentation on how strawberries grow, pollination and honeybees (I love that part!), and directions on what to pick. Kids will pick a quart of strawberries in containers with locking lids. Teachers are encouraged to bring a Sharpie marker to write names on the containers and several large boxes to transport berry containers back to school.

Summer Field Trip

Call for available times and produce availability. Pricing may vary with availability.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Come see Ms. Angie for a fun-filled trip to the pumpkin patch. Trip includes a wagon ride to and from the patch, a lesson on how pumpkins grow (and there will be a TEST!), and a choice of pie pumpkin from the patch. Teachers are again reminded to bring a Sharpie marker and boxes to transport pumpkins back to school.

South Carolina MAiZE Field Trip

Activities include a wagon ride to and from the maze, instructions on maze creation and navigation, and a mind-boggling trip through our eight acre labyrinth. Pike pumpkin may be included at pricing below. Please bring one chaperone for each small group of 5–6 students.

Field Trip Payment

We accept cash or check for all field trips. School check is preferable.

When you arrive...

  • It would be helpful if your group could arrive at least 10 minutes early for your activities. We may have to adjust your field trip activities if your group is late.
  •  Coordinating teacher should come to the farm store to check in with total number in attendance and payment.
  •  Make sure your bus driver has correct directions. CLICK HERE for directions to our farm
  •  Students should remain on the bus until instructions are given.

What if it rains?

It does happen every now and then! In case of rain, please call the farm to re-schedule your field trip.
